Eaton Vance adds two to Global Equity team in London

Eaton Vance Management International has hired two individuals from Goldman Sachs Asset Management’s Global Equity team. Christopher Dyer (CFA) and Aidan Farrell have joined Eaton Vance, both based in London. Dyer has joined as Head of Global Equity, and Farrell has joined as a Global Small-Cap Fund Managers. Both appointments are effective 15th June 2015.

Dyer will be responsible for building and leading a global Equity investment team, and managing global and international Equity portfolios. Farrell will be responsible for managing global and international small-cap Equity portfolios, leading a team of Equity Analysts, and working alongside Dyer to expand the global Equity business. Both will be affiliated with Eaton Vance’s Equity group, and will work closely with Edward Perkin (CFA) who is Chief Equity Investment Officer.

Prior to joining Eaton Vance, Dyer was Head of European Equity for Goldman Sachs Asset Management, where he has worked for nearly fourteen years. He holds a BS from Georgetown University and an MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. Farrell also worked for Goldman Sachs Asset Management, as lead Fund Managers for the Goldman Sachs International Small Cap Equity Fund and the Goldman Sachs European Small & Mid Cap Equity Strategy. Prior to joining Goldman Sachs Asset Management he was an European Equity Fund Manager at Insight Investment. Farrell holds a BA in Economics from the University College Dublin and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Studies from the University College Dublin Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School.
